Overview

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate engineering related projects.  Provide utility location services in support of project safety.  Perform operational, financial and scheduling functions to facilitate the completion of assigned projects in a timely and cost effective manner.  Inspect facilities and building systems, investigate issues and situations as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate engineering related projects.  Provide utility location services in support of project safety.  Perform operational, financial and scheduling functions to facilitate the completion of assigned projects in a timely and cost effective manner.  Ensure energy efficiency and minimal resource use is considered for each project.  Measure, calculate and track energy savings.  Inspect facilities and building systems, investigate issues and situations as requested.

Monitor and control assigned projects.  Perform cost and inventory control.  Analyze and comply with applicable codes and regulations.  Identify and resolve issues promptly.

Develop and maintain historical record keeping and filing systems related to facilities, processes and projects.  Maintain records for labor and material costs.   Process transactions and produce project reports.

Communicate effectively with various individuals and groups verbally and in writing to achieve positional objectives.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field and one year of comparable experience or equivalent combination of education or experience.
