Overview

Candidates must either possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography or other related field and four years of GIS technical operating experience including analysis, design, development, and programming of GIS applications and databases OR possess an equivalent combination of experience and training sufficient to perform the essential job functions and provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of and experience with ArcGIS Server. Prior municipal GIS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Possess knowledge of GIS software, programming logic, computer operating systems, and networks; computer system architecture, client/server protocol, and local area network systems; principles and practices of GIS; land base information (examples to include lot, parcel, tract, right-of-way, easement); map design; City policies and procedures; principles of and training.
