Minimum QualificationsQualifications generally include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field; supplemented by 2 to 3 years of previous experience or training that includes experience in GIS and database technology; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience with Microsoft SQL server is required and the following is highly desired:¬† Database technologies including Access, DB2, HTML, XML, JAVA, Visual Basic and MS.Net programming languages; ESRI based GIS software. Candidate must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting analysis prior to commencing employment.

Under general direction, this position is responsible for providing support and development of Town GIS data with emphasis on database interaction with Geographic Information System data.
