This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. and has the option to work remotely or in an Arcadis office near your existing location.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Designing and modeling advanced linear referencing systems, including both core components and event datasets.
Analyzing and loading datasets to build the LRS network, including centerlines, routes, and calibration points.
Analyzing and loading datasets to build supporting LRS event data.
Integrating external datasets into Roads and Highways for use in producing Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) and Certified Public Mileage (CPM) reports.
Identifying and designing business processes for use in Workflow Manager (WMX).
Developing Data Reviewer checks for the validation of data conversion/creation processes.
Managing GIS data through editing and quality assurance best practices.
Developing and implementing Roadway Characteristics Editor (RCE) sites using ArcGIS Server.
Developing and parsing REST service calls to interrogate enterprise database systems.
Designing and developing geoprocessing models for a range of functions using model builder and python.
Design, implement, and administer Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) of SQL Server and Oracle instances.
Minimum years of experience: 5 Years
Education required: Bachelors in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Information Technology, or Computer Science
This position does require travel. Travel amount may be up to 25%.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required for this position.

Projects focus on the design and implementation of enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using Esri based software.
