Job Description

ArcTrain-Canada (www.arctrain.ca), a new program on processes and impacts of climate change in the North Atlantic Ocean and the Canadian Arctic, is offering several funded postdoctoral positions in Canadian institutions:

- Geochemical records of recent instabilities in the Labrador Sea  Water production and its alkalinity (Nd & B isotopes in deep sea corals)
Supervisors: Claude Hillaire-Marcel (Geotop-UQAM, Montreal) and Kumiko Azetsu-Scott (Dep. of Fisheries and Oceans and Dalhousie University, Halifax)

– Modelling the Arctic-subarctic Ocean for testing hypotheses about long term climate changes
Supervisors: Anne de Vernal (Geotop-UQAM, Montreal) and Paul Myers (University of Alberta, Edmonton)

– Deglacial ice and climate system interactions
Supervisors: Lev Tarasov (Memorial University of Newfounland, St. John’s), Claude Hillaire-Marcel (Geotop-UQAM, Montreal) and Paul Myers (University of Alberta, Edmonton)
